National neighborhood night out

The South Godwin Neighborhood Association sponsors the NNO picnic the first Tuesday of August each summer.  The event is held at Southlawn Park on Jefferson just a couple blocks from the church.  For the past several years Southlawn has been in charge of grilling between 500-700 hot dogs!  This past year we also had a double shot basketball game which kept a crowd of kids busy all evening.  It's a great opportunity to meet our neighbors in support of a great cause, and we're thrilled to have a part in the event.
